Honest answers to the questions everyone asks

Do I need formal Magento experience to apply?
For senior roles, yes — we expect 2+ years on Magento 2 or Hyvä in production. For internships and frontend roles, strong PHP / JavaScript fundamentals matter more than the exact framework. Show us a project you’re proud of. -
I’m self-taught / no degree. Will that hurt?
No. We weight take-home performance and the tech round at ~80%. Two of our top engineers came in without a CS degree. What we look at: how you reason about trade-offs, debug under pressure, and write tests. -
Is the take-home task paid?
Yes. We pay ₹3,000 for the take-home regardless of whether we extend an offer. It’s your time and your IP — you keep both. -
Can I work fully remote?
For most engineering and platform roles, yes — we have teammates in 5 cities across India and 2 outside. For design and PM roles, we ask for at least one week per quarter on-site in Ahmedabad. Internships are on-site only. -
What’s the average tenure?
Our last 6 hires averaged 2.7 years before leaving (3 of them are still here). We don’t do up-or-out and we don’t do silent layoffs. -
I don’t see a role that fits. Can I still apply?
