How does visual regression CI work with AI-generated code?

Day-one wiring on every project. We push every Storybook story to Chromatic (or Percy / BackstopJS) on first PR. From then on, every commit auto-snapshots all stories — if a single pixel changes anywhere, the PR shows a side-by-side diff. Designer or design-engineer approves the diff before merge to main. AI-generated code is held to the same bar as human-written code — no exemption, no shortcut. Across 40+ projects, this has caught dozens of subtle regressions (focus rings, hover states, dark-mode contrast bugs) that would otherwise have shipped to production.
